Mother’s Day in DC: Motherhood Session

In May, I did a few motherhood sessions with previous clients in my studio space in Georgetown, DC (Fostr Collaborative, you have my heart!). This one struck a chord with me just because both this badass mama and I were sweating because of all the movement, because we remembered chaos. But this is why I try to remind parents that while we will try to corral the babies a bit, letting them be themselves lands us these portraits that are so raw and real.

I seriously haven’t been able to stop smiling about this dream of a session.
