Heck yeah, I do! BUT, I only guarantee a limited number of mini sessions once a year (in the fall) to returning clients. If my schedule allows, I do schedule pop-up minis.

I do also offer add-on mini sessions to clients who book newborn sessions.

I ask my clients to let me know if they are feeling ill or have been exposed to COVID so that we can reschedule, regardless of whether we are indoors or outdoors. I will do the same and let you know if I am not feeling my best. I am no longer masking outside or for most indoor sessions. I usually assume that I will be masking for newborn sessions, and I occasionally will mask for various reasons during other sessions.

In general, galleries take anywhere from 1-4 weeks, but I’m pretty good at keeping you updated on my status! I know you’re excited to see it, and I’m excited to send it over!

Sessions that occur within 25 miles of 22151 are considered local and will not be subject to a travel fee. I have so many great suggestions for locations, indoor and outdoor, woodsy and city/town backgrounds, in the area. I also have a couple of favorite studios (DC/Alexandria) we can discuss renting!

My preferences for newborn sessions are pretty simple. Huge preference for neutrals. Patterns in moderation are super welcome. The one thing I will insist on … lean away from neon colors.

The most important thing is that you are comfortable.

Most of my newborn sessions are held in the a.m. When it comes to picking a specific start time, we will discuss your kid(s)’s schedule(s) and adjust accordingly, but usually my time slots begin at or before 10:30 a.m. We will pick a tentative date and time when you book me, but keep in touch after you give birth to adjust as necessary.

Guys, NOTHING! Seriously. My entire approach is centered around you being natural, you being you, at home. Don’t worry about cleaning; let’s discuss a couple of locations within your home that have light that will make me fall in love, and focus on just making sure there is seating room (for you). That’s seriously it.
