Alexandria, VA Newborn: Where are my teeth???

What do I remember about this Alexandria, VA newborn session? I remember how playful this little man’s mom and dad were with each other. I remember the story about their major home renovations that wrapped up THE DAY that their babe was born. And I remember air quotes when they talked about how life is “normal” now (and all the stories from when their life together began). I remember the gorrrrgeous calico cat that was very amazingly involved in a good amount of our photos (and if you ask me, gosh, please, have your pets in the photos — this is real life), and the sound that she makes when she jumps up high. Whenever baby boy expressed discomfort, we wondered about diapers, and also his dad joked that his son had just remembered that he didn’t have any teeth.

I remember how mom and dad held their new love while chillin’ on the chaise. When baby boy was done with our visit, he fell asleep right there, thumb in mouth.
