Look at all of this drastic change, girl.

I photographed this beautiful family in the fall, at one of my favorite places, Lake Accotink. I’ve lived in Northern VA for 34 years, and still, I feel like the seasons every single year are jumping right in my face saying, “LOOK AT ALL OF THIS DRASTIC CHANGE, GIRL.” And photography has become a reminder of the beauty in each of those drastic changes. Both in the actual seasons and when watching my clients’ and friends’ families grow.
