Can you remember exactly how your kid sat the last time he or she ate a cup of ice cream? What were they wearing? What did you feel, smell, hear? What flavor ice cream was it?

For me, seeing a photo, or hearing a song, brings about sensory memories of everything else. Details I wouldn’t be able to remember on command otherwise. Yes, it’s important to live in the now, but, isn’t it nice to remember where it all began?
